I’ve been married 44 years to Ted Mayo (Middletown HS class of ‘69). We have two daughters and two grandkids, with another due in about two months!
I’ve retired twice - from the City of Waterbury Welfare Dept., and then from Liberty Mutual. A couple of years ago we decided to leave the cold winters and moved out to Nevada....about an hour west of Las Vegas, in the middle of the Mojave Desert. So different from New England, and absolutely gorgeous. No, we don’t see water, but our views of the desert with mountains in the distance is spectacular! COVID has been painful for us, since we had planned to get back to CT several times a year to see the family. Just waiting for that to change. In the meantime, I ride my horse, play golf, swim, we do a lot of driving around to see new sites... enjoying life as much as we can. Hope everyone is staying well. I had to miss the big reunion, hopefully will be able to get back for the next one. |
