I am happily retired in Calabash North Carolina after spending 34 years with United Illuminating Co. (now Avangrid) in New Haven. I came back to New Haven in early June. I spent a very enjoyable afternoon with Bud Bassoli, Ron Cusano and Paul DeVeglia at Modern Pizza in New Haven. In addition we had a surprise visit with Eddie Beaudette at his optical office in Hamden. Again what a fun time! |

It was great seeing everyone at our 50th reunion. I can’t believe it is well over a year ago.
The one thing we all know is that the older we get the faster it goes. Anyhow Loretta and I are enjoying North Carolina coastal living in Calabash. I love Sunset Beach, golf, and all that this state has to offer. I wish for continued health and happiness to all. Remember to stay physically and mentally active. After spending 34 years with the United Illuminating Co. ( now known as Avangrid) I retired to North Carolina. I live in the Grand Strand region which actually starts in my town of Calabash and goes all the way to Myrtle Beach. I have taken up golf and I love every minute of it. The beaches here are incredible. What a diverse state this is! Both my wife Loretta and I continue to explore all the things this area offers. I usually get back to Connecticut about twice a year to see family and friends. Unfortunately, it will be different this year because of Covid 19. I urge everyone to remain vigilant. Don’t let your guard down. |
